One of the biggest lessons we learn in the metaphysical world is discernment and setting boundaries. We are not supposed to teach everyone, help everyone, agree with everyone, or enable anyone. We are supposed to set healthy boundaries with all our friends, clients and students.

There are many in the world who try to heal all the sick, read for all those who want readings and never make them do an energy exchange (money is a form of energy exchange), and then wonder why their skills aren't sharp, they are sick, they feel drained or their life is becoming their karma.  We are not supposed to do for everyone. Part of what we do in life to help others, is to teach them to help themselves.  How can we teach them to trust in the process if we don't already trust that all is divinely aligned and well.

We have to set boundaries in everything we do. That includes spiritual work. We cannot help others if our battery is always low. We cannot be at the top of our game, or safe in intense situations if we are half worn out, not sharp, and alert.  But, most importantly, why do we feel compelled to be their guide.  To give them answers means their is some level of seniority that one is more evolved than another.  Most readers are just the same as you or I.  Why are they more in touch with your journey than you looking within?

​Recently, I made choice to back off from doing private sessions because I was watching how energy was being manipulated by the energy exchanges.  There are some who walk away feeling freedom and perfectly aligned to whatever they asked for but who had to take on the karma not worked out?  

Many people get excited over delving into the psychic, the supernatural, the metaphysical. It is fascinating and  eye opening, but it is not a game. You are going in to places where there are energies that are strong, serious, and concentrated, if you don't know what you are doing, you can get into serious trouble. You can be helping to heal someone who has serious issues and dark energy, and when you open yourself up to heal that person, it can come in.  Some people you show tools too assist along their path, and they use them to "heal others" and they can then change their direction on a dime and follow another tune in a song that they never heard before.  

Make sure you are always with someone who knows what they are doing, and also remember that there are many fakes and self taught people from the the internet.  Many who are innocently trying to help you because they are helping themselves.  There is nothing unconditional love about this exchange.  The dynamic is that someone has taken upon themselves to be god and they can very well interfere with your very own beautiful journey that is waiting for you.   Learn from people who know what they are doing and look again into your heart.  If you need validation, the universe will speak to you.  Even the best intended energy workers and guides have more to learn.

Meanwhile, for all energy workers, give yourselves a break.  Look within if it is all worth it to do all your work to hand it over to someone to exchange you with theirs.  If you are truly allowing divine to heal, then know all is well and they got this.  Don't sap your strength, you may need it one day too.  Energetically you are carrying each and every soul, karma, imprint and many many layers not yet revealed when you decide to take it upon yourself to provide your advice.  Those who rely on you will become attached and will require you to continue carry them through their decisions and judgement.  

​Can you imagine walking along a desert walking 10 miles?  Now, if you decide to walk that same 10 miles and carry two people as well.  Do you see how that would take much more energy to achieve.  ​

We only know what we have been shown.  We also have to constantly remember to listen to Universal messages. When the Universe is telling you to stay away from a person, even if they need help, stay away. Maybe it is not time for them to receive help yet, maybe more lessons need to be learned, or another person may be effected. It is not our place to second guess the Universe. We are here to partner with the Universe and be the human forms that help do things so others can learn, grow and thrive.  Never to heal.
